Don't be sad. Allah is With US. :)
lionofallah:

When Allah says: “Men are the qawwâmûn of women…” it means – and Allah knows best – that men are held liable for handling the affairs of women and are responsible for the women under their care. A husband, therefore, has the responsibility of taking care of his wife, protecting her, defending her honor, and fulfilling her needs regarding her religion and her worldly life. It does not mean – as all too many people have falsely assumed – that he has the right to behave obstinately towards her, compel her, subject her to his will, suppress her individuality, and thus heinously negate her identity.
His status as protector and maintainer is pure responsibility, pure liability, and not so much a position of authority. It requires from him that he uses his good sense, thinks carefully about what he does, and exercises patience. It means that he cannot be hasty and offhanded in his decisions. It does not mean that he can disregard his wife’s opinions and belittle her good person. We’re running out of men..

Nouman Ali Khan quote From the collection: IslamicArtDB » Nouman Ali Khan Quotes (61 items)Originally found on: amona-1

On September 11th, 2001,
airplanes did not just fly
into the World Trade Center.
They flew into people’s homes-
through television, radio,
telephone, Internet,
newspaper and magazine;
news outlets everywhere.

September 11th, 2001,
the day last names
were attacked,
arrested, detained,
changed, and erased,
not for the first time.
Faiths set on fire,
cultures bombed,
beliefs crumbled
to pavement.

September 11th, 2001,
The day planes were
flown through
the veils of women,
set fire to beards of men,
to pages of a holy book.
The day those planes
massacred an entire religion.

September 11th, 2001,
the day parents were executed
in the street behind their home,
children orphaned,
those unable to even recite
the colours of the American flag.

September 11th, 2001,
the day colours of freedom
changed from red white blue
to red red red and more red.

On September 11th, 2001,
airplanes did not just fly
into the World Trade Center.
They flew into people’s homes-
into people’s hearts.
In the form of fear,
and bullets, and
drone strikes.

September 11th, 2001,
the day the largest
military power in the world
could justify their violence,
and not be challenged.

September 11th, 2001,
The beginning of a trial
in which the only verdict
is guilty guilty guilty;
more death more suffering
is the sentence for those
who never committed
the crimes they are
being punished for.

If revenge equates to justice
and oppression is its gavel,
then freedom is Ground Zero.
Do not forget September 11th, 2001.
The day America felt its tremors,
and the entire world mourned.

And he smiles, generously.Subhan’Allah.Have you ever thought of that day when you see him smile at you? Ma sha Allah. Indeed, a lot of narrations have said that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam smiled generously to the people during his prophethood, or even before he became a Messenger. Here’s a story that story that highlights the love of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam to the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum.
It’s just so beautiful. subhan’Allah, get your tissues ready. _____During the last days of the final illness of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, he became so sick that when it was time for prayer, he couldn’t lead the prayer. so he ordered Abu Bakr Radiyallahu Anhu to lead the prayers.Abu Bakr continued to lead the people in prayer until Monday, when the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam removed the screen of his apartment just as the Muslims were busy lining up for prayer. While they were praying he lay there, watching them and appreciating how far they had come in recent years.Just as a carpenter gives his work a final look of appraisal, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam was looking at the finished products of his many years of toil and sacrifice. He was greatly pleased because he was looking at people who were devotedly performing congregational prayer, without his supervision. The Prophet’s heart was content, for this was something no other Prophet had achieved before him. The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam was reassured that after his death his Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum would continue where he left off. Such thoughts filled the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam with joy, made his face radiate with happiness, and gave him the strength to stand up.Meanwhile, the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum said, “The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam has removed the screen of ‘Aishah’s Radiyallahu Anha apartment and is looking at us while he is standing up.” Furthermore, they saw that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam was smiling and laughing.Out of love for the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, some people mistook this as a sign of his recovery. They thought that he was coming out to lead them in prayer but he signaled to them that they should complete their prayer. He then entered the apartment and lowered the screen._____Subhan’Allah. There’s still time to change to be better, if you are faltering on your salah, then get up and prepare for the next salah right now, make wudhu and feed your soul with the Qur’an. If you have talked bad about someone, then make use of you phone and call that person and ask forgiveness, if you have answered back to your parents, then right now, get up and ask for their forgiveness, do not ever let a moment pass that you do not settle things with them.Redeem your soul, start now, make the intention right now. _____May Allah Azza Wa Jall accept our good deeds and forgive us and grant us the ranks of the righteous, in companionship with His Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, and finally witness that smile that the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum saw. Amin.Zohayma_____Stories are narrated in Sahih Bukhari: 4,448

During the last days of the final illness of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, he became so sick that when it was time for prayer, he couldn’t lead the prayer. so he ordered Abu Bakr Radiyallahu Anhu to lead the prayers.

Abu Bakr continued to lead the people in prayer until Monday, when the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam removed the screen of his apartment just as the Muslims were busy lining up for prayer. While they were praying he lay there, watching them and appreciating how far they had come in recent years.

//
Rasulullah SAW said: “Most certainly, people from my Ummah will consume liquor which they will describe with some other name. Over their heads will be playing musical instruments and singing girls. Allah will cause the earth to swallow them, and from among them He will transform into apes and pigs.” Sunan Ibn Majah.

The Prophet SAW described the usage of music instruments above the people’s head 1400 years ago. In our time, this is what we called ‘headphones’, various musical instruments are being played in just one object placed on our heads, additional to that there are so many countless songs with girls’ voices singing in it. This is the sign of the end of times

Perhaps a sin that humbles you is better than a good deed that makes you arrogant. ~ Sheikh Hamza Yusuf.

The moment you did a sin and you feel guilty, you quickly ask for forgiveness from Allah, for Allah loves those who always return to him, for that perhaps is better for you.

The moment you did a good deed, and you feel so good about it you tell the whole world, show it off, and there’s some riyyak in your heart for doing it, for that perhaps is bad for you.

Perhaps.

Be humble, always.
